Now Hiring: Administrative & Marketing Assistant
HuSTL Hospitality is looking for a talented and experienced person to bring on to the team as Administrative & Marketing Assistant!
This individual will need reliable transportation as they may visit any of our restaurant locations on a daily basis, as needed. You will grow with us as we grow the company. The expectation for this new hire is a full time position.
General Administrative & Operational Functions
Assisting with tracking deadlines and holding our team accountable to the outcomes and action-items of the meetings. This person will help leaders prioritize the most important and time sensitive work. They are our calendar keeper and will help us look ahead.
Syncing databases 1x monthly across all companies
Researching local events, maintaining calendar and helping managers project spikes in business.
Responding to reviews on behalf of both restaurants, alerting managers to urgent service or quality issues they may need to address.
Assisting with keeping multiple inboxes clean and responding to inquiries.
Serving as an in-house liaison for our marketing agency, gathering needed information from restaurant General Managers, while also gathering content at times as needed. Should be comfortable with light photography & videography for social media content. Please include examples of your photography & videography skills in this application.
Will do some light graphic design of flyers, table toppers, screen graphics. Should have experience with Canva. Please include examples of your graphic design in this application.
Should be comfortable with writing. May be asked to update our website and write 1 blog per brand per month (with guidance and training).
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for this job will be an empathetic, driven, and organized individual who is known for getting stuff done. They should be the kind of person who takes whole ownership of something - and helps us look into the future, considering what moves to make next. They should be naturally gifted at being able to look around corners to see what’s coming next as a forward thinker. They must be self-motivated, accountable, and productive. They should have some graphic design experience and will be creative by nature. They will need to feel comfortable holding the leaders within our company accountable and organized to deadlines - and helping those leaders prioritize and stay focused on the most important priorities at hand.
This person will often be in a more professional office setting, but working in the hospitality industry - so this person must be comfortable navigating both worlds. In this role, you will learn something new every day. This person will constantly be helping us research, create, and acting in a major support role as we work to grow new facets of the business. This person MUST be comfortable being uncomfortable, excited for new challenges - but gifted at keeping the day-to-day work moving forward.
Must be comfortable with technology, especially Google Docs and Drive and/or Microsoft Office Suite. Must be willing/able to learn new technology. In this role, you will use Google Drive, Google Docs & Sheets, Sling, Toast, Tock, Canva, Dashlane and more.
Pay & Benefits:
